7. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

ATTENTION!
◊ Always turn the product off and wait for it to cool down before cleaning.
◊ Do not use an abrasive sponge or harsh cleaning agents that may scratch the
surface.

7.1 Everyday dirt on the glass surface (fingerprints, light stains):

• Always clean the surface immediately after use so that the surface is not damaged.
• Choose a detergent especially suitable for glass surfaces.
• Put some detergent on the still lukewarm surface.
• Clean the surface well with a soft cloth.
• Use a damp cloth to remove all cleaning residue.
• Dry the surface with a clean textile or paper towel.

7.2 Overcooked, melted, burnt or sugary spots on the glass surface:

• Remove the stain immediately. Be careful not to burn yourself.
• Use a spatula or scraper suitable for glass ceramic cooktops.
• Scrape the dirt at a 30° angle.
• Remove the dirt with a dish towel or paper towel.
• Clean, rinse and dry the surface as for everyday dirt.

The automatic shutdown has
come on.
Cookware touches the
control panel causing it to
overheat.
Control panel is inadvertently
touched.
Voltage is incorrect.
Temperature is incorrect.
IGBT sensor is open or
shorted.
Make sure the vents are clear
and the ambient temperature
is not too high to prevent
overheating.
Make sure that no pan is too
close to the panel.
Do not put anything on the
control panel and lock it so that
it is not inadvertently touched.
Check the power supply and
then turn the product back on.
Wait for the product to cool
down, then turn it back on.
Call customer service or
qualified service personnel.
