2. Connect the red test lead to the red (+) input terminal on the meter.
3. Connect the black test lead to the black (-) input terminal on the meter.
4. Press the POWER button to switch on the meter.

The display shows "MANUAL".
5. Start a measurement by pressing the button AUTO/MANUAL.

The meter starts the measurement.

If the test is complete, the display shows "Test Completed".
6. Verify that the meter shows the actual value of the source..
7. After completing measurements, switch the tester off by pressing the button
POWER.
8. Disconnect the test leads.
9.2 Connecting solar panels
Connect the meter across the solar panel terminals in parallel.
1. Disconnect the solar panel from the power grid.
2. Connect the red test lead to the red (+) input terminal on the meter.
3. Connect the black test lead to the black (-) input terminal on the meter.
4. Connect the test leads to the corresponding terminals at the solar panel.
9.3 Measuring performance manually
In manual measurement mode, you start every measurement manually. Manual
measurements last for 3 seconds.
The countdown on the display indicates the remaining seconds until a measure-
ment is complete.
