– Press in the locking button (10) and remove the
battery from the device.
– Insert the battery pack into the charger.
– Plug the charger into the power supply.
The charging status is displayed by the control
lights (11).
– Slot the battery pack into the device and make
sure it clicks into place correctly.
Checking the remaining capacity of the battery
– Press the button (9).
The remaining capacity of the battery is displayed by
the control lights (8).
Removing a tool
NOTICE! Risk of injury! Shortly after
being used, the tool may be very hot. Risk of
burning! Allow a hot tool to cool down. Never
clean a hot tool with flammable liquids.
– Set the rotation direction switch (4) to the centre
setting.
– Turn the tool holder (1) anti-clockwise.
– Remove the tool.
Inserting a tool
DANGER! Risk of injury! Make sure that
when installing the tool that it fits securely in
the clamping chuck and is not at an angle.
– Place the tool as far as it will go into the tool
holder (1).
– Set the rotation direction switch (4) to the centre
setting.
– Turn the tool holder (1) clockwise and secure.
Changing the rotation direction
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
Only use the rotation direction switch when
the device is at a standstill.
– To drill and screw screws into place, press the
rotation direction switch (4) to the left (rotation in
clockwise direction).
– To remove screws, press the rotation direction
switch (4) to the right (rotation in an anti-clockwise
direction).
If the rotation direction switch is in the centre position,
the On/Off switch (9) is blocked.
Setting the torque
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
Only use the torque regulator when the
device is at a standstill.
The torque of the device can be adjusted to 21 differ-
ent settings by turning the torque regulator (2):
• Settings 1–13 = Low setting for small screws and
soft materials.
• Settings 14–25 = Higher settings for larger
screws and harder materials.
• Setting [
] = For drilling and unscrewing tight
fitting screws. The releasing clutch is without
function during this setting: The device operates
at maximum torque.

Setting the revolutions
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
Only use the revolution switch when the
device is at a standstill.
– For different drill diameters, set an appropriate
revolution range:
• Revolution switch (3) in position [2] = High revo-
lutions for drilling with small drill diameters.
• Revolution switch (3) in position [1] = Low revolu-
tions for drilling with large drill diameters.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit! Do
not use the setting [
screws.
Check before switching on!
Check to make sure the device is in a safe operating
condition:
– Check to make sure there are no visible defects.
– Check to make sure all device components are
correctly mounted.
Switching on and off
– To start the tool turning, press the On/Off but-
ton (5).
• The LED (6) will light up.
– To switch the unit off, release the On/Off
switch (5).
Note: The revolution speed of the device
can be varied by applying different pres-
sures to the On/Off switch.
Drilling
DANGER! Risk of injury! Never hold the
work piece that you are working with in your
hand, on your lap, or against other body
parts.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
Never use the drill for chasing or to expand
drilled holes.
– Turn the torque regulator (2) into position [
– Hold the device straight and drill with even pres-
sure.
Note: Always use a drill appropriate to the
material.
Screwdriver action
– Set the required torque using the torque regula-
tor (2).
– Keep the device in a straight line to the screw.
Note: Always use the screw bit designed for
the screw. If you use the incorrect bit, you
may damage the head of the screw.
