7. Installation
CAUTION:
During all assembly steps, the vacuum
cleaner must be switched off.
7.1
Engaging and disen-
gaging connections
All nozzles can be connected either to the
suction pipe 32 or directly to the suction de-
vice 2.

The crevice nozzle 44 and the brush noz-
zle 43 have a simple locking device.
• Plug the nozzle onto the opening on the
suction pipe 34 or the opening on the
suction device 16 until it audibly clicks
into place.
• The small ridge 41 on the nozzle fits
precisely into the groove on the sock-
et 17 or 33.
• To release the connection, press the cor-
responding release button 42.
NOTE: the release button 42 has only been
numbered once, because it looks the same
and functions the same on the crevice noz-
zle 44 and the brush nozzle 43.

The floorhead 35 and the upper end of the
suction pipe 32 have two release but-
tons 31 (on both sides).
• When assembling, ensure that the lock
clicks into place on both sides.
At the same time, the plug 30 is con-
nected to the socket 17 on the suction
device 2 or the socket 33 on the lower
end of the suction pipe 32.
• To release the connection, press both re-
lease buttons 31.
NOTE: the release buttons 31 and the
plug 30 are only numbered once. Those on
the floorhead 35 and the upper end of the
suction pipe 32 look the same and function
the same.
7.2
Adjusting the length of
the brush nozzle
• Press the button 45 on top of the brush
nozzle 43 and slide the brush nozzle
section to a position where it audibly
clicks into place.
