16.7 Vacuum sealing in the vacuum container
1. Connect the vacuum hose to the device. Block the device in the open position so that
the lid is slightly open during vacuuming of
the container.
2. Attach the other end to the container lid.
Depending on the container, use an
adapter if necessary (see operating
instructions for your vacuum container)
► Make sure that both ends of the hose
connection (with use of an adapter if
necessary) are correctly connected to
the device and to the container lid
3. Press the "Behälter"-Button. Briefly
press the lid of the container at the beginning. The device stops automatically when the
vacuum is reached. The vacuum hose and, if necessary, the adapter can then be
removed.
16.8 Use of the cutter
To cut the foil at desired length, press the cutter unlock buttons on both sides. Press down
the cutter so that the foil is held firmly. Slide the cutter over the foil.
Push it back into place until it latches.
16.9 Opening a sealed bag
Cut the bag straight across with scissors or the cutter, just inside the seal.
16.10 Storage
Store the unit in its upright position, out of the reach of children.
► Always unplug the appliance from its outlet immediately after using
and before cleaning.
► For correct storage turn the lever to position STORE, do not lock
the cover, it will deform the gaskets and affect the machine
function.
