Safety and protection devices
•
ON/OFF button (10): Switches the tool on and off.
•
Display (9) on: indicates that the tool is powered.
•
Release switch (6): it automatically engages when the trigger (7) is released; it prevents unintentionally starting up
the tool.
•
Bar cover (15): protects the cutting bar (2) during transport.
•
Chain guard (13): protects the operator from kickback.
•
Hand guard (8): protects the user's hand from any contact with the chain (1), should it break or come out of the bar
(2).

4 INSTALLATION AND START-UP

Installation and start-up
•
Insert the battery pack (16) into its seat on the tool, until you hear a click.
•
Switch the tool on using the ON-OFF button (10). After a beep, the display (9) lights up.
•
The tool is ready for use.
