Gas test, operating panel test
▸
Press the buttons Operating mode [41] and
Main parameters [42] simultaneously; the gas
test is started for approx. 30 seconds.
All the LEDs and the 7-segment display also light

up briefly at the same time.
▸
Pressing the two buttons again terminates the gas
test.
Master reset
All welding and ancillary parameters are reset to
the factory settings.
▸
Press the button Welding method [24] and hold
depressed.
▸
Also press the button Main parameters [42]
briefly.
All the LEDs and the 7-segment display light up

Functions of welding torch buttons

44 Torch button Start/Stop to start and stop the
welding process.
46 Torch button Secondary current to call up the
secondary current I2.
45 Torch button Up for increasing the welding
current. The 7-segment display [38] changes
automatically to the parameter Main current I1.
43 Torch button Down for reducing the welding
current. The 7-segment display [38] changes
automatically to the parameter Main current I1.

The device requires little maintenance. There are
only a few points which have to be checked at
regular intervals to keep the machine operational
for years to come.

Inspect the following for damage at regular
intervals:
— Mains plug and cable
— Welding torch and connections
— Workpiece lead and connection
Accessories and spare parts
If. in spite of careful manufacturing and testing
processes, the device becomes faulty, a repair by
Würth masterService should be arranged.
