WARNING
Risk of explosion!
Using an unsuitable smartphone can lead to ignition of combustible or explosive
atmospheres.
► The smartphone must be suitable and approved for use in explosion-
hazard areas.
The gas detector can be connected to a suitable smartphone via Bluetooth
®
The Bluetooth
(subject to licensing) can be activated via the PC software CC-Vision.
For specific information about the connection via Bluetooth
instructions for use of the smartphone used.
Prerequisites:

Bluetooth
1.
Switch on the gas detector.
2.
On the smartphone, select the gas detector:
a.
Short name of the gas detector in the Adroid/iOS Bluetooth
b.
Part number and serial number in the optional Dräger app.
Both the smartphone and the gas detector are showing a 6-digit number.

Check if the numeric codes on the two devices match and if they do confirm
on both devices. The connection must be established within 30 s, otherwise
the numeric code will become invalid.
The devices are connected.
A successful connection is saved and in future, the two devices will be connected
automatically (configurable via the PC software CC-Vision).
If the connection is lost, the gas detector automatically attempts to establish a
new connection.

Maintenance
The device does not require any special maintenance measures.
The following maintenance instructions must be carefully read, understood and
followed to prevent flammable or combustible atmospheres from igniting and to
ensure that the intrinsic safety of the device is not impaired.
