Safety information
These instructions for use and the documents for sensors can be
downloaded in electronic form from the Technical Documentation database
(www.draeger.com/ifu). Enter the part number or product name in the
search mask.

Basic safety information
Before using the product, carefully read these instructions for use, those of
the associated products and the general instructions for use for sensors
(9023657).
Strictly follow the instructions for use. The user must fully understand and
strictly observe the instructions. Use the product only for the purposes
specified in the intended use section of this document.
Do not dispose of the instructions for use. Ensure that they are retained and
appropriately used by the product user.
Only trained and competent users are permitted to use this product.
Local and national guidelines that relate to this product (e.g. IEC 60079-14)
must be complied with.
Only trained and qualified personnel may inspect, repair and maintain the
product as described in these instructions for use and the technical manual
(order no. 90 33 742) (see Section 5 on Page 24). Further maintenance
work that is not detailed in these instructions for use must only be carried out
by Dräger or personnel qualified by Dräger. Dräger recommend a Dräger
service contract for all maintenance activities.
Use only genuine Dräger spare parts and accessories. Otherwise, the
proper functioning of the product may be impaired.
Do not use a faulty or incomplete product. Do not modify the product.
Notify Dräger in the event of any component fault or failure.
Replacing components may impair the intrinsic safety of the device.
Incorrect calibration
An incorrect calibration leads to incorrect measured values.
► The sensitivity must be checked daily before first using the device, with a
known concentration of the gas to be measured that corresponds to 25 to
50% of the final concentration. The accuracy must amount to 0 to +20% of
the actual value. The accuracy can be corrected by calibration.
