12. Operation
a) Setting the operating parameters
Set the operating parameters before inserting the batteries into the
battery slots. The following operating modes/functions are available:
• Charge
• Discharge
• Activation
• Analysis
In "Charge" mode, the charger automatically detects the charging
parameters for the inserted batteries. In other modes, you will need to
configure the parameters manually.
b) Inserting a rechargeable battery
• Insert a suitable rechargeable battery into any battery slot (4),
ensuring that it is inserted in the correct polarity (see positive/+ and
negative/- markings in the battery compartment and on the battery).
The charger will beep.
• In most cases, the charger automatically detects the battery type
and selects a suitable charging voltage. If the charger detects the
wrong battery type, manually select the correct parameters.
"Auto" mode must be selected in order to charge different types
of batteries at the same time.
• The LCD display (2) indicates the slot number of the currently
inserted battery. The battery voltage will be displayed. Charging
begins automatically.
