7.1 Function overview
The electronic lock "EG" is equipped with the following functions:
a. Acoustic signalling of keypad entries
b. An opening code
c. Concealed emergency opening lock
7.2 Important notes on operation / disclaimer
Please read these operating instructions carefully, before you operate the lock. We accept no liability
whatsoever for malfunctions caused by incorrect adjustment or
the use of force or improper handling, nor for damage to property or financial losses caused, for example, by
the improper locking of the safe.
Never keep the supplied emergency opening keys in the safe!
7.3 Commissioning
To open it for the first time, insert the emergency key included in the scope of delivery into the keyhole and
turn it anticlockwise by 90° until it stops.

Note on Figure 1: When the safe is put into operation for the first time, the cover of the
emergency opening lock is not yet fitted (it's enclosed in the safe).
Then turn the bar handle 90° to the right as far as it will go and open the door (Figure 2).
