e) Checking and setting the neutral servo settings
Prior to programming the remote control system or adjusting your model, you have to make sue that the digital trimming
for the steering and drive function is in the central position (value 0).
Each brief push of the programming and setup buttons is confirmed with an acoustic signal. If a button
is pressed longer, the remote control transmitter issues a fast sequence of beeps.
With the trim button "DT 1" (see ill. 1, pos. 3), you set the central position for the
steering servo (channel 1). If you briefly press the button, the display switches
from the operating display to the trim display. With each further press of the button,
the trim value is changed by one step.
By pressing the button in both directions, you can increase or decrease the value.
If the button is pressed and held, the setting value changes continuously (quick
adjustment).
The maximum adjustable value (left) is "L 25" and "R 25" (right).
The exact central position is reached once the display reads exactly "0".
The last set value is saved automatically. If you do not press the button "DT 1" for
one minute, the display returns to the operating mode.
With the trim button „DT 2" (see ill. 1, pos. 16), the central position of the throttle/
servo/drive control (channel 2) is adjusted according to the same scheme as the
steering servo.
Now check the trimming of both channels and set the values to exactly "0".
