3.10. REMOVE FACTORY RESIDUE
Before using the appliance, it is recommended to run the appliance empty once in order to remove possible manufacturing
residues or odours:
1.
Select the cotton programme with the selector dial.

Repeatedly press the temperature button until 90°C appears on the control panel.

Press the start/pause button to start the laundry programme.
4.
Check if there is any leakage at the drain hose.
NOTE
• Check for leaks during the first wash. If leakage occurs, check that the drain hose is connected correctly and completely. If
there is no leakage, the drain hose is connected correctly.

Before using the appliance, carefully review the safety information in Section 1.
WARNING!
• RISK OF IRREPARABLE DAMAGE TO THE APPLIANCE. The transport protection must be removed from the appliance

before switching the appliance on. If the drum rotates while the transport protection is still attached, the appliance will
damage itself. See section 3.5. to remove the transport bolts.

• RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE APPLIANCE OR LAUNDRY. Do not wash clothes that are not suitable for the chosen laundry
programme.
• RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE APPLIANCE OR LAUNDRY. Do not wash clothes soaked with highly flammable substances
such as petrol, alcohol or turpentine.
• RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE APPLIANCE OR LAUNDRY. Do not wash any waterproof items.
