Place the water tank back on the machine. Make sure that the hooks at the top fall securely into the fixed part of the
machine

Make sure there is always sufficient water in the reservoir, if the machine is used without water this may cause damage to
the machine
Inserting drip tray and drip grid

Make sure the drip tray is always correctly positioned in the machine's designated recess

Place the drip grid on the drip tray.
Inserting and replacing the filter
The espresso machine is equipped with 2 sieves. 1 for a single espresso and 1 for a double espresso
sieve for some
The espresso strainers have a small mark in the form of a round "ball" on the outside of the strainer, above which is a small notch in
the edge of the strainer. When you place the sieve in the holder, make sure this little ball is at the front of the sieve holder, the sieve
holder itself has a small recess into which this little ball falls exactly. Then turn the sieve slightly. This will prevent the sieve from falling
out of the sieve holder.

Select the desired sieve (single or double) according to whether you want to make a single or double espresso.

Place the sieve at an angle in the sieve holder with the ball side at the front at the level of the recess in the sieve holder. Press
the sieve down so that it falls into the opening and then turn it slightly. This will prevent it from falling out of the sieve holder.
To remove the sieve from the sieve holder again, turn it so that the ball or notch is again at the level of the opening in the sieve holder.
In this position, you can remove the sieve.
CAUTION!!! After use, making an espresso, this sieve and this part of the sieve holder is hot. Therefore, always let it cool down first.
If you want to make another espresso in between, raise the clip in the sieve holder. It then clamps around the sieve and you can shake
the coffee grounds out of the sieve over a waste bin or tray. There is no need to touch the sieve itself.
Inserting or removing the sieve holder from the machine
1. Always grasp the sieve holder by the plastic handle. Place the handle under the open lock as shown on the front of the
machine (under control buttons)
2. Turn the sieve holder handle to the right without it extending under the closed lock as shown on the front of the machine
(under control buttons.
