Before cleaning the espresso machine

DANGER to burn injuries!
Do not touch hot parts of the appliance, e.g. the strainer and strainer holder, brewing unit and steam pipe. Hold the steam pipe and
strainer holder by the handles only.
DANGER to burn injuries!
Hot steam and hot water escape when using the steam pipe. The steam nozzle becomes very hot. Hold the steam nozzle by the plastic
handle only. Never hold hands or other body parts in the water vapour.
When frothing milk with the steam pipe: first dip the steam pipe into the milk before starting the steam function. And stop the steam
function before taking the steam nozzle out again.
Make sure that hot water vapour can always escape.
WARNING for material damage!

The device is equipped with silicone feet. As the housing is treated with a wide variety of lacquers and plastics and with
different care products, it cannot be completely ruled out that some of these substances may contain components that
corrode and soften the silicon feet. If necessary, as a precaution, place an anti-slip mat under the machine.

Under no circumstances fill the espresso machine with liquids other than fresh, cold drinking water!

Do not use the machine without water in the water tank to avoid damaging the heating element.

Only use the appliance with the original accessories.

Place the appliance on a firm, flat (preferably level) surface.

When operating it, (hot) water and steam, espresso and espresso powder may spill onto the surface. Therefore, place the
machine on a waterproof surface that is insensitive to heat.

Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.

Do not expose the appliance to temperatures below freezing.

Remove the device and user manual from the packaging and remove all packaging material.
Always check that the packaging is complete and that there is no visible damage. In case the packaging is incomplete or you notice any
damage, send or return the device to the company where you purchased it. Clean all parts before first use, following the instructions
of "Cleaning" as indicated in this manual.
Place the appliance on a flat (preferably level) and dry surface. Use a non-slip mat as a precaution.

machine on a watertight surface that is not sensitive to heat.
