Þ This appliance is designed and made exclusively for use in private households. Exceptions are similar situations such as use by
guests in a hotel, motel or other residential facility. A kitchen for employees of a medium-sized company. Not in company
canteens or sports canteens.
Þ Ensure that the appliance is only used on a stable, flat and non-slip surface. Preferably level
Þ Never connect the appliance to a time switch or an external separate remote control system, this can cause dangerous
situations
Þ When in use, always unwind the power cord completely before using the appliance
Þ The espresso machine, the power cord and plug must not be immersed in water or other liquids. If this happens, do not use
the machine to avoid dangerous situations.
Þ Make sure that the connection cable of the espresso machine is not damaged, if it is, the machine cannot be used and must be
replaced by a qualified person.
Þ When cleaning the machine, always observe the points mentioned in the cleaning chapter.
Þ The espresso machine becomes warm to hot when in use. This temperature may persist for some time. The parts that are hot
and/or remain hot for some time are:

The coffee sieve

The coffee sieve holder (always use the flip-up clip to secure the sieve in the sieve when emptying the coffee
grounds)

The heating plate

The steam nozzle

Any residual water that may come out of the machine, both on the coffee side and the steam side
Þ Never remove coffee grounds residue from the machine with a sharp or metal object, this will damage the machine. When you
want to clean the fixed part of the appliance, always unplug the machine.
Always follow the safety instructions as mentioned in this manual, ignoring or improper use may result in injuries or cause dangerous
situations.
DANGER for children!
Packaging materials are not children's toys. Children should not play with the plastic bags.
There is a danger of suffocation.
DANGER to and from domestic and service animals!
There may be dangers to domestic and user animals from electrical appliances. Furthermore, animals can also cause damage to the
appliance. Therefore, always keep animals away from electrical appliances.
DANGER of electric shock due to moisture!

Protect the appliance from moisture and dripping or splashing water: otherwise, there is a danger of an electric shock.
•
Fill the water tank at most to the MAX mark.
•
Check the drip tray regularly and empty it promptly
•
If liquids get inside the appliance, unplug it immediately. Have the appliance checked before putting it back into operation.

Do not operate the appliance if the appliance or the connecting cord shows visible damage or if the appliance has previously
been dropped.

Only connect the plug to a properly installed, easily accessible, earthed socket whose voltage corresponds to the data on the
rating plate. The socket must remain easily accessible even after connection.

Make sure that the connection cord cannot be damaged by sharp edges or hot spots.
•
The power supply to the appliance is not completely interrupted even after switching it off. To do so, pull the plug out of the
socket.

When using the appliance, make sure that the connecting cable is not pinched or trapped.
•
To avoid dangerous situations, do not make any changes to the appliance.
•
Always pull the plug out of the socket by the plug and never by the cable.
