MOUNTING
This outdoor unit is designed for surface
mounting. Fig. 1 shows how it is opened.
Make sure that the cables at the mounting
location are behind the outdoor unit so that
they are no longer visible after installation.
The recommended mounting height of the
camera is approx. 140cm, but it depends on
the local conditions and should be checked
before mounting.
Ensure that the surface at the installation site
is flat so that the bottom of the housing does
not warp during installation.
1. Remove the name plate (1) by inserting a
suitable flat-blade screwdriver into the
recess on the side of the name plate and
levering it forwards.
2. Unscrew the two housing screws (2) with
the Torx-T6 screwdriver supplied.
3. Remove the front housing (3) towards
the front. There are lugs on the top of the
housing. It is therefore necessary to hold
the front cover at a slight angle when
doing this.
4. Under the cover (5) you will find the set-
ting options of the outdoor unit. Unscrew
the screws (4) to remove the cover.
5. Unscrew the 4 screws (6) to be able to
separate the technical unit (7) from the
bottom of the housing. When removing
the technical unit, take care not to tilt it
so that the contact pins do not bend.
6. Hold the bottom of the housing at the
mounting location of the outdoor unit
and mark the drill holes.
