8. Service
Your point of contact for service is your hülsta retailer where you
purchased the product. Please obtain details concerning any possible
costs before making use of this service. If you request the service from
your hülsta retailer, please note that after the expiry of the statutory
warranty period, service costs such as for work and travel time,
packaging and freight may be charged to the customer.
9. Recycling / disposal
Recycling and disposal facilities for motor-driven base frames are
country-specific. Please obtain this information from your respective
authority or ask your local retailer.
Disposal of the electrical components in accordance with the electrical
device and local waste regulations. The electrical components must
be removed from the motor-driven base frame in accordance with the
instructions and disposed of at an electrical equipment waste disposal
station.
Disposal of the product in Germany is subject to the Elektro-G,
internationally it is subject to the EU directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS
dated 01.07.2006) and directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS dated 03.01.2013)
or the respective national legislation. (The product is not subject to
EU directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE) and its amendment EU directive
2003/108/EC).
The drive of the motor-driven base frame must not be disposed of with
household waste! In accordance with the European electrical waste
regulation, the drive unit must be disposed of at designated waste
disposal stations.

In the event of the need for disposal, pull out the mains plug, remove
the mains connection plug and the plug of the cable hand switch or
remote receiver on the drive unit.
Loosen the Bowden cables in the drive levers.
Unscrew motor unit – dispose of complete motor unit at the collection
point for electric waste.
The remaining parts of the base frame must be recycled in accordance
with the country-specific regulations. Please contact the relevant
authorities for more information or ask your hülsta retailer.
