3. Installation
3.1 Installing the holding device (Fig. 2)
If required, the enclosed hook can be connected to the hand switch.
Version clip hook: Insert the hook into the opening on the back of the
hand control. The hook snaps into the housing.
3.2 Connection to the motor
Connect the plug of the hand switch to the corresponding socket on
the drive.

3.3 Strain relief
As a strain relief for the plug connections, the cable must now be
hooked into the cable guide shown above. You can thus protect the
plug from damage and adjust the length of the control cable to suit
your requirements.

3.4 Connection of the power supply
Connect the plug of the power cable with the free socket of the driver
housing. Then proceed with strain relief (see 3.3).
CAUTION
Avoid pinching the cables!
3.5 Control buttons
Operation of the hand-held transmitter/hand switch
There are 6 buttons on the cable hand switch and the remote control
(Fig. 4). The buttons on the left side with the symbol
are for all upward movements, the keys on the right side with the
symbol
for all downward movements. When a button is pressed, the control
panel gives off a bluish light, so that you have orientation for operation
even in the dark. Use buttons 1 and 2 to move the back section up and
down, buttons 3 and 4 to move the foot section up and down. Using
the buttons 5 and 6, the head and foot sections can be moved up and
down together.

Cable hand switch
3.6 Linking 2 hülstaflex premium motor-driven base frames with
cable control
Using the dual-port synchro cable, the hand switches can be
connected to both beds. No matter which manual switch is used,
both hülstaflex premium motor frames move together in the selected
function. Adjustment speed and adjustment position may differ slightly
in case of large load differences (e.g. one half of the bed unloaded).
