• The manual is based on the European Union's standards and rules.
• The device meets the European standards and the directives in the
current version at delivery:
▷ LVD 2006/95/EC
▷ EMC 204/108/EC
▷ EUP 2009/125/EC
Contact a registered installer to fit your appliance (see
'Installation'). Do not connect the appliance to the electrical
mains until the installation is complete.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
▷ staff kitchen areas in shops, office and other working
environments;
▷ farm houses;
▷ by client in hotels, motels and other residental type
environments;
▷ bed and breakfast type environments.
• Connect up the appliance according to local installation regulations.
• If the connecting cable is damaged, it may only be replaced by the
manufacturer, the manufacturer's service organisation or equivalently
qualified persons, in order to avoid dangerous situations.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are given proper
supervision or instruction on how to use the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• This appliance must be earthed! Earthing reduces the risk of an
electric shock in the event of errors and faults. This appliance is
fitted with an earthed power lead and plug. Only insert the plug into
an earthed wall socket that has been fitted in compliance with the
local electrical code!
• Incorrect connection of the power lead can result in a life-
threatening situation. In case of doubt, contact a qualified
electrician or service technician. Do not make any changes to the
plug. If the plug does not fit into the wall socket, contact a qualified
electrician to change it.
