UW VAATWASSER Inleiding U heeft gekozen voor een vaatwasser van Etna. Optimaal gebruiks- comfort en een eenvoudige bediening stonden voorop bij de ontwikkeling van dit product. In deze handleiding staat beschreven op welke manier u de vaatwasser zo optimaal mogelijk kunt benutten. U vindt informatie over de bediening en achtergrondinformatie over de werking van het toestel. -

VEILIGHEID Waar u op moet letten • De handleiding is gebaseerd op de normen en regels van de Europese Unie. • Het apparaat voldoet op het moment van levering aan de huidige Europese normen en richtlijnen: ▷ LVD 2006/95/EC ▷ EMC 204/108/EC ▷... - Pagina 8 VEILIGHEID op met een gekwalificeerde elektriciën of servicemedewerker. Voer geen veranderingen door aan de stekker. BEDIENING Ingebruikname Let op: • Vul altijd eerst het zoutreservoir en stel de waterhardheid in voordat u de vaatwasser in gebruik neemt (zie pagina 12). • Vul tevens het glansspoelmiddelreservoir en het afwasmiddelbakje (zie pagina 13, 14 en 15). Overstroombeveiliging Uw vaatwasser is uitgerust met een beveiliging die ervoor zorgt dat er niet te veel water in het toestel kan lopen. -

BEDIENING Let op! Een programma dat al is gestart kan alleen in het beginstadium worden aangepast. Na langere tijd is het vaatwasmiddel al over het vaatwerk verspreid of de machine heeft het waswater al weggepompt. In dat geval moet u het zeepbakje opnieuw vullen (zie hoofdstuk Vaatwasmiddel). -

BEDIENING Zout bijvullen Deze machine is uitgerust met een waterontharder. Vul hiervoor de vaatwasmachine met zout. 1. Draai, na eerst de onderste korf te hebben verwijderd, de dop van het reservoir los. 2. Voordat u het reservoir de eerste keer vult giet u er één liter water in. 3. -

BEDIENING Informeer bij het waterleidingbedrijf naar de hardheid van het leidingwater om een en ander volgens de tabel in te stellen. Glansspoelmiddel Tijdens de laatste spoelbeurt wordt glansspoelmiddel toegevoegd. Glansspoelmiddel voorkomt dat er sporen van druppels achterblijven op de schone vaat. Het zorgt er bovendien voor dat de vaat sneller droogt doordat het water er gemakkelijk afglijdt. -

BEDIENING hoeveelheid glansspoelmiddel door de keuzeknop van het reservoir op stand 3 te draaien. Als dat geen verbetering geeft stelt u de keuzeknop in op een hogere stand. Herhaal deze handeling totdat de vaat streeploos droog uit de machine komt. Vaatwasmiddelen De chemische stoffen in vaatwasmiddelen verwijderen het vuil, breken het af en zorgen ervoor dat het vuil uit de vaatwasser afgevoerd wordt. -

BEDIENING normale afwasbeurt. Gebruik meer vaatwasmiddel bij sterker vervuild vaatwerk. Vul het zeepbakje vlak voor de start van het programma. Het vaatwasmiddel kan anders vochtig worden en daardoor niet volledig oplossen. Vullen 1. Druk op de ontgrendeling als de deksel gesloten is. - Pagina 17 BEDIENING Bordenrekken neerklappen Om potten en pannen makkelijker te kunnen plaatsen, kunt u de achterste bordenrekken neerklappen. Bestekmandje (beladingsvoorbeeld) Bestek moet in het bestekmandje worden geplaatst, met de heften naar beneden. Wanneer het bestekmandje is voorzien van zijvakken moet het bestek stuk voor stuk in de vakken worden geplaatst. Lang keukengerei, zoals pollepels, moeten in een liggende (horizontale) positie, voorin de bovenkorf worden geplaatst.

ONDERHOUD Filtersysteem Het filtersysteem haalt op efficiente wijze voedselresten uit het water en zorgt ervoor dat het waswater gedurende het wasprogramma kan blijven circuleren. Het filtersysteem bestaat uit drie componenten: de grote zeef, de grove zeef en de fijne zeef. 1. -

ONDERHOUD Waarschuwing! Gebruik de vaatwasser nooit zonder de filtergroep. Incorrect terugplaatsen van de filtergroep heeft tot gevolg dat de vaatwasser niet meer optimaal presteert. Een ander gevolg kan zijn dat er beschadigingen optreden aan bestek en vaatwerk. Reinigen sproeiarmen Het is noodzakelijk dat u de sproeiarmen regelmatig reinigt. Vervuiling verstopt op den duur de sproeikoppen en de lagers van de sproeiarmen. - Pagina 22 ONDERHOUD Geen oplosmiddelen of agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen of agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen voor het onderhoud van de deur en de rubber delen van de vaatwasser. Gebruik in plaats daarvan een zachte doek en een warm sopje. Wanneer u op vakantie gaat Draai, voordat u met vakantie gaat, een wasprogramma terwijl de vaatwasser leeg is.

STORINGEN Wat moet ik doen als... Wanneer het toestel niet goed werkt, betekent dit niet altijd dat het defect is. Probeer het euvel eerst zelf te verhelpen. Bel de servicedienst wanneer onderstaande adviezen niet helpen. Let op Maak het toestel spanningsloos voordat met reparatie wordt gestart.
