TROUBLESHOOTING
Following are few of the common troubles that can be solved without calling the maintenance service.
Trouble
Nothing is shown on the
display
The pump does not work
The bar does not seal
The machine cycle stops at
97% and does not run
further
For FAVOLA with inert gas injection device :
Trouble
The VAC led
The desired vacuum has not been
flashes and the
achieved
alarm sounds
The gas bottle is not connected
The GAS led
flashes and the
The gas pressure is lower than 1 bar
alarm sounds
Should it not be possible to solve the problem after having checked the above suggestions call the
maintenance service.

Cause
The main switch is OFF
Plug not in the socket
Cable damaged
The oil is spoiled
The room temperature is lower
than 12°C
The electrical connection is
wrong
Sealing time not long enough
Electrical terminals of the
sealing bar are not connected
Humidity of the air
(this happens rarely)
Cause
Action
Main switch ON
Plug in
Check the cable and replace it if necessary
Controllare l'olio della pompa ed
eventualmente sostituirlo
Place the equipment in a room with a
temperature higher than 12°C
The equipment must be connected with a
minimum cable section of (see REPLACING
OF THE CONNECTING CABLE)
Reset the sealing time
Connect the electrical terminals of the sealing
bar
Put the equipment in a dry environment
Reduce the vacuum down to 97%
Proceed with manual sealing (key STOP)
Action
Check that the lid gasket seats
Check if the lid gasket is damaged and replace it if
necessary
Check the chamber edges and clean if necessary
Connect the gas bottle
Increase the gas pressure to 1 bar
Do not increase the pressure over 3 bar for a
correct operation of the machine
