Headlights

These instructions apply to the following products of the HEINE
ML4 LED, LoupeLight 2, MicroLight 2
Please read and follow these instructions for use of and keep them for future
reference. (Background: blue, foreground: white.)
Intended Use
Supplied internally with electrical power, the headlights are designed for short-term
local illumination of the body, with the exception of the eyes, to support diagnosis during
a therapeutic or surgical (ML4 LED only) intervention.
The instrument may be used by professional medical staff and in professional healthcare
institutions only.
For U.S. only:
Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a Physician or
Practitioner.

Setting up
Only operate the ML4 LED with the
HEINE
mPack, the mPack UNPLUGGED or
®
the plug transformer for the headband rheostat.
Only operate the LoupeLight 2 and the
MicroLight 2 with the HEINE
Take care that the cable is fastened tightly to
the headband of the ML4 LED in the provided
buckles (see Fig. 1).
Ensure safe cable routing (see Figs. 2 and 3) for LoupeLight 2 and MicroLight 2. Connect
the cable to the lamp housing by firmly tightening the coupling nut on the cable end to the
counterpart on the lamp housing.
Exposure to high mechanical strains and kinking of electrical cables on the headlights
must be prevented.
Only use the HEINE plug transformer (Cat.No. X-095.16.330) for the ML4 LED.
