8.2 Instructions, standards
and regulations
Note
Observe all applicable na-
tional and regional regula-
tions and instructions.
9. Appliance descrip-
tion
The appliance is designed for use be-
tween seasons and as a booster heat-
er in smaller rooms. It can be used as
a mobile floorstanding appliance if
the feet are fitted, or otherwise as a
wall mounted appliance.
9.1 Standard delivery
Delivered with the appliance:
- Feet incl. fixing screws
- Wall mounting bracket

11. Assembly
11.1 Fitting the feet

f Guide the power cable through
the channel in the left foot.
f Push the feet with the guide
pins into the bottom of the side
sections and secure with screws.
11.2 Wall mounting
WARNING Burns
fOnly fit the appliance to a
vertical wall that is temper-
ature-resistant to at least 90 °C.
fMaintain minimum clearances to
adjacent appliances.
fNever install the appliance direct-
ly below a wall socket.

f Check the hole distances for the
wall mounting bracket in the
dimensioned drawing.
f Secure the wall mounting brack-
et with suitable fixing materials.
The slots in the wall mounting
bracket enable alignment if the
drilled holes are not completely
accurate.
f Hang the appliance by inserting
the hooks in the wall mounting
bracket into the slot in the back
panel.
f To protect the appliance against
unintentional removal, wind the
locking tabs at the top of the
wall mounting bracket clock-
wise into the appliance using a
screwdriver.

fCarry out all electrical
connection and installation
work in accordance with relevant
regulations.

Material damage

fObserve the type plate.
The specified voltage must
match the mains voltage.
The appliance can only be con-
nected to alternating current 230 V
~ 50/60 Hz.
The cable must not touch the appli-
ance.
f Ensure the socket is at least
10 cm from the appliance.
f Never install the appliance di-
rectly below a wall socket.
f If a permanent connection is
required, trim the cable (cut off
the plug) so that it runs directly
to the appliance junction box.
In the case of a permanent connec-
tion, the appliance must be able to
be separated from the power sup-
ply by an isolator that disconnects
all poles with at least 3 mm contact
separation.
This appliance is unsuitable for fixed
cables.
13. Appliance handover
f Explain the functions of the ap-
pliance to the user. Draw special
attention to the safety instruc-
tions. Hand over the operating
and installation instructions to
users.
14. Troubleshooting
The power cable must only be re-
placed by a qualified contractor
using original spare parts supplied
by us.

The warranty conditions of our German companies do not
apply to appliances acquired outside of Germany. In countries
where our subsidiaries sell our products, it is increasingly the
case that warranties can only be issued by those subsidiaries.
Such warranties are only granted if the subsidiary has issued
its own terms of warranty. No other warranty will be granted.
We shall not provide any warranty for appliances acquired in
countries where we have no subsidiary to sell our products.
This will not affect warranties issued by any importers.
Environment and recycling
We would ask you to help protect the environment. After use,
dispose of the various materials in accordance with national
regulations.
