Removing cooking plates
The appliance should be off and cooled, and be sure to press
the START/STOP button. Find the plate release buttons on the sides.
Press one button firmly and the cooking plate will pop- up from the base.
Grab the cooking plate with both hands to lift and remove. Use caution
when placing plates on another surface - do not apply too much pressure
as to not damage the pins underside.
5) USE
•
As the appliance will become hot during use, always use caution when
operating.
DO NOT TOUCH THE PLATES OR SPLASH GUARD DURING OR
IMMEDIATELY AFTER COOKING.
Use an oven mitt if you need to adjust the splash guard to prevent burns.

The base of the appliance will be very hot too. If you need to move the
appliance for any reason allow the appliance to cool before handling (at
least 30 minutes).

Once your appliance is properly assembled, plug the power cord into a
standard electrical outlet and you will be ready to get cooking. As you make
your selections, the LCD will illuminate but, cooking will not begin until you
press the START/STOP button.

Using the PLATE SELECT dial, you can choose to control both plates at the
same time, or independently control the temperature, time and sear function
for each plate. Temperature settings range from 80°C to 230°C and time
ranges from 1 to 30 minutes.
•
Turning the TIME dial clockwise past 30 minutes will activate ON in the display.
The timer does not countdown, but the plate will switch off automatically after
60 minutes.
