3) BEFORE FIRST USE
1.
Read all instructions and important safeguards.
2.
Remove all packaging materials and check that all items have been
received in good condition.
3.
Tear up all plastic bags and dispose of properly as they can pose a
suffocation or choking risk to children.
4.
Wipe body clean with a damp cloth. NOTE: Do not use harsh abrasive
cleaners, scouring pads or products that are not considered safe to use on
non-stick coatings. If washing the plates and drip tray in the dishwasher,
a slight discolouration to the plates and the drip tray may occur. This is
cosmetic only and will not affect performance.
5.
Following 4 parts can be taken off the appliance for cleaning:
(1) grill/teppanyaki plate – (2) splash guard – (3) drip gutter – (4) drip tray

Clean the grill / teppanyaki plates, drip tray and drip gutter and dry
thoroughly before placing on the appliance. The plates and drip tray are
dishwasher safe.
7.
Insert the drip tray and drip gutter.
8.
Install the plates as described in section 4) Assembly instructions.
NOTE: During first use, the appliance may have a slight odour. This is perfectly
normal and will disappear with use.
4) ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
A.
Assembly instructions for the different sets of plates
To get started, place the appliance on a clean, flat surface. The appliance
has 3 different plate options:

Installing cooking plates
The appliance should be off and cooled. Insert each plate
individually. Tilt the centre of the plate downward, and carefully push
down on the outer side of the plate. You should hear it snap into place.
Do not force it down, make sure the hinge pins and hooks are aligned
and then try again. Do not try to use prongs to push in.
