1.Pull the locking sleeve back and remove the accessory tool.
2.Insert the accessory tool into the tool holder (SDS).
3.Turn the accessory tool and push it into the tool holder (SDS) until it engages with an audible click.

The accessory tool is locked.
4.Check that the accessory tool is securely locked.
Installing dust collection module for overhead work (accessory)
1.Insert the retaining lugs of the dust collection module into the connections for the dust collection
module.
2.Turn the dust collection module counter-clockwise.

The dust collection module is locked.
Fitting the dust removal module (accessory)
1.Move the forward/reverse switch on the rotary hammer drill to the middle position.
2.Remove the depth gauge.
3.Turn the auxiliary handle to a position where it is not in the way.
4.Hook the dust removal module into the locking pins on the rotary hammer drill.
When hooking the module into position, be sure to pass the accessory tool of the rotary
hammer drill through the extraction head of the dust removal module.
5.Press the electrical interface into the rotary hammer drill until the dust removal module engages
with an audible click.
6.Check that the dust removal module is correctly engaged.
Removing dust removal module (accessory)
1.Move the forward/reverse switch on the rotary hammer drill to the middle position.
2.Press and hold down the catch on the dust removal module.
3.Pull the electrical interface out of the rotary hammer drill.
4.Unhook the dust removal module from the locking pins on the rotary hammer drill.

Use only the Hilti tool tether recommended for your product.

Prior to each use, always check the attachment point of the tool tether for possible damage.
Comply with the national regulations for working at heights.
As drop arrester for this product, use only a combination of the Hilti retaining strap #2293133 and
the Hilti tool tether #2261970.

Secure the retaining strap to the installation openings for accessories. Check that it holds securely.
▶
Secure one carabiner of the tool tether to the retaining strap and secure the second carabiner to a
load-bearing structure. Check that both carabiners hold securely.
Comply with the operating instructions of the Hilti retaining strap and those of the Hilti tool
tether.
