Maintenance
Comply with EN 13564 during maintenance.
The dismantling/installation of the pump is described under installation ("Remove pump(s)", page 36).
7.1
Inspecting the operating valve
An inspection of the operating valve of all Ecolift SWAs must be carried out monthly by a competent expert.
To check the correct operation of the operating valve, open and close the emergency closure lever several times.
7.2
Maintenance interval
The system must be maintained regularly by a competent person. The intervals may not be longer than:
1/2 year for apartment buildings or in the commercial sector
1 year in detached or semi-detached houses
The maintenance interval is valid for all maintenance activities described below.
A maintenance record with details of all the work carried out and the main data must be prepared for each maintenance
inspection. If defects are found that cannot be corrected, the competent person must notify the system owner/operating com-
pany immediately.

up to the marking.
The backwater valve is considered watertight if no more
than 0.5 l of water has to be refilled during the specified
maintenance period.
Note the result in the log book or maintenance log.
