Using the converter via a vehicle cigarette lighter socket

1. Position the converter on a level surface, with the ResMed logo facing
up.
2. Plug the converter connector (A) into the machine power inlet/DC input
socket (B).
3. Plug the converter adaptor plug (C) into the vehicle cigarette lighter
socket. The light (D) will glow green when it powers on.
If the battery is low, the light will glow amber. If the battery is too low to
operate the machine, the converter and light will turn off.
Notes:
• Some vehicles require the ignition key to be turned to the "accessories"
position to provide power to the vehicle cigarette lighter socket.
• The power cord is not replaceable.
• If the battery OR car, boat or other vehicle are not in good condition,
there may not be enough reserve left in the battery to start the vehicle
after use.
• When the converter is not in use disconnect it from the vehicle cigarette
lighter socket to prevent battery discharge.
• The AirMini DC/DC Converter must only be used with the AirMini
machine to ensure proper performance.
• ResMed recommends connecting a deep cycle battery to the converter
to power your machine, as deep cycle batteries are optimized for
frequent heavy discharges.
• If you need help or to report an unexpected issue, contact a ResMed
representative, ResMed Technical Services or see www.resmed.com.
Cleaning
If necessary, wipe the outside of the converter with a clean, damp cloth.
Changing the fuse
1. Unscrew the fuse holder (E) from the top of the converter adaptor
plug (C).
2. Remove the old fuse and insert a replacement fuse of the same type
and rating.
3. Re-screw the fuse holder.
WARNINGS
• Read instructions before use.
• Only use the converter when connecting to a 12V or 24V DC supply.
