On chair scales the arms and legs of the patient must lie on the
arm and foot rests.
Taring
Manual taring
Place some paper towels or seat covers on the scales and press
the TARA button.
The display shows zero and the letter N for net weight.
Taring is possible over the entire weight range.
Manual tare input
To program the Function key, "Manual Tare Input" must be
selected in Setting mode. For Function key settings, see User
mode 3710 (see separate description 470.702.099, when needed
for using scales or request Soehnle Industrial Solutions).
Set the value using the Tare button or Function key. Press briefly
to increase or decrease the value by one. Press and hold to scroll
rapidly through the values.
The selected value is stored by pressing the Print button.
Cancel taring
Press the Zero button shortly to cancel taring.
Tare info
If you press the button briefly, the tare weight is deleted. If you
press and hold until the weight indication flashes, the tare weight
is displayed and not deleted.
Temporary tare function)
The dialysis tare function can be assigned to the Function key.

description 470.702.099, when needed for using scales or request
Soehnle Industrial Solutions).
Unknown tare values are added to the existing tare value without
changing the net weight display.
