Warranty
ELCO is pleased to off er to you a warranty
of 2 years from the commissioning of your
AEROTOP MONO system.
Please read carefully the information
contained under the paragraph « Warranty
Limits» in order to know the rules for the ap-
plication of the guarantee. The commissio-
ning of your system AEROTOP MONO must
be performed by an authorized Technical
Service Centre, which will provide to the
producer the compiled Certifi cate of Gua-
rantee.
Please control that the transmission of the
Certifi cate of Guarantee by the Technical
Assistance Centre has been completed after
the installation of the system.
Guarantee conditions
ELCO off ers you a warranty of 2 years (3 years
on the compressor of the outdoor unit) from
the commissioning of your system AERO-
TOP MONO. This warranty covers the repla-
cement of parts recognized as defective,
with the exception of damages occurred
to the components during installation and
commissioning.
This warranty is subject to the execution of
a regular maintenance carried out by a qua-
lifi ed technician, who will inspect, clean and
make appropriate adjustments on the sys-
tem at least once a year, as indicated by the
Ministerial Circular of 09.08.78.
The repair or replacement of components
during the period of validity of the warranty
off ered by the manufacturer do not result in
a renewal of the warranty.
The warranty off ered by the manufacturer
will not be considered valid if the system is
not rightly installed as well as in cases where
the malfunctioning of components is due
to an improper use of the system or to an
inadequate maintenance of the same.
The warranty is valid just if the installation
and subsequent maintenances were per-
formed in a workmanlike manner, in accor-
dance with the rules in force and following
the instructions on the Installation Manual
and carried by a qualifi ed technician.
The warranty off ered by the manufacturer
does not cover the following situations:
• Damages to the components due to not
allowed modifi cations of the system, from
inadequate or irregular water pressure,
from unusual quality features of the water
(eg limestone, dirt ...) or from the applica-
tion of not allowed supply voltages
• Installation and subsequent maintenance
operations are not carried out by a quali-

This manual constitutes an integral and
essential part of the product. It must be
kept with care and must follow the system
in case of AEROTOP MONO is transferred
to another owner, or in the case of the ins-
tallation will be transferred.
Carefully read the instructions and war-
nings contained in this manual: they provi-
de important information concerning the
operation and maintenance of the device.
This appliance is designed to produce hot
water for domestic use.
It should be connected to a heating system
and a distribution network for domestic hot
water, both of which must be compatible
with its performance and power levels.
The use of the appliance for purposes other
than those specifi ed is strictly forbidden. The
manufacturer cannot be held responsible
for any damage caused by improper, incor-
rect and unreasonable use of the appliance
or by the failure to comply with the instruc-
tions given in this manual.
Installation, maintenance and all other inter-
ventions must be carried out in full confor-
mity with the governing legal regulations
and the instructions provided by the ma-
nufacturer. Incorrect installation can harm
persons, animals and possessions; the ma-
nufacturing company
shall not be held responsible for any da-
mage caused as a result.
In the event of any maintenance or other
structural work in the immediate vicinity of
the ducts, switch the appliance off . When
the work has been completed, ask a quali-
fi ed technician to check the effi ciency of the
ducting and the devices.
Turn the appliance off to clean the exterior
parts of the appliance. Do not use or store
infl ammable substances near the installa-
tion of your system AEROTOP MONO.
Clean using a cloth dampened with soapy
water. Do not use aggressive detergents, in-
secticides or toxic products. If the appliance
is used in full compliance with current legis-
lation, it will operate in a safe, environmen-
tally-friendly and cost-effi cient manner.
If using kits or optional extras, make sure
they are authentic.
In case of prolonged disuse of the system
AEROTOP MONO:
• Disconnect the power plug
• Shut off the sanitary cold water supply
• Empty the entire circuit, to avoid the wa-
ter from freezing in the pipes
If you decide to permanently dismiss the
system AEROTOP MONO. contact a qualifi ed
technician, in order to carry out the decom-
missioning of the product.
