3. Setting Mode "VTR"

• If "VT" has been selected as the setting mode (see fig 30 at the start of chapter 12. f) then the servo travel can be
adjusted at any desired position. In addition, you can set the braking curve (and reverse - as per "EXT" and "CUR"
setting modes).
• Pressing the "ENTER" button several times switches between "P" (select position of the gas curve, see figure 45),
"R" (set servo travel, see figure 45) and "BR" (set braking curve, see figure 47, 48 and 49).
• If "P" is activated (the "P" is bordered black, see fig 45) then the "+" and "-"
buttons can be used to select the position; see arrow in figure 45.
• If "R" is bordered black, the value for the servo travel can be adjusted with
the "+" and "-" buttons.
• The braking curve (reverse) can be set only in exponential shape, see figures 48 and 49.

Figure 47
If the value is set to "0" this makes the braking curve (BR) linear, (see fig 47).
Negative values for the braking curve (fig 48) make braking smooth and thus make it easier to judge the
correct braking level required e.g. for loose surfaces.
Positive values (fig 49) lead to hard braking, which slows the vehicle quickly on firm/high-grip surfaces.
• With the "ENTER" button you can move back to selecting the setting mode "EXP", "CUR" and/or "VTR", see fig. 29/
30/31.
• Exit the settings menu with the "EXIT" button, the settings are automatically saved.
