9. Mains Connection
The mains outlet to which the McCrypt "IN THE MIX" DJ set is connected must be easily accessi-
ble so that the device can be quickly separated from the mains voltage in case of an error.
The McCrypt "IN THE MIX" DJ set and all connected devices must be turned off when connecting
the voltage supply.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different devices
and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions.
• Connect the small device connection plug of the power line to the power connection (45) on the device.
• Plug the power plug into a wall socket.
• The mains switch (1) is used to switch the device on and off. (ON: The device is switched on, OFF: the device
is switched off).
10. Start-Up
Only put the device into operation when you have become familiar with its features and these
operating instructions. Check again that all connections are correct. Do not put the product into
operation if it is damaged.
The amplifier for this equipment should always be the last to be turned on and the first to be tur-
ned off. In this will prevent any undesired noise (which can typically occur when switching off the
McCrypt "IN THE MIX" DJ set) that may damage the amplifier or loudspeakers.
Make sure that the connected devices are not overloaded. The sound should never be distorted.
If distorted music signals can be heard although the volume on the amplifier has not been set too
high, switch off the device immediately and check the connection. If the connection is correct,
please contact a specialist.
The device may only be operated by persons familiar with the operating instructions. Keep other
persons and children away from the device.
