10. Menu Functions
Menu function settings are performed in 3 steps:
1. Selection of the operating mode ("SC01" ... "SC04"), see chapter 10. a)
Depending on operating mode, the warning sound or video recording at night (camera + microphone) is activated
via the integrated speakers or halogen lamp.
2. Selecting the warning sound ("Aud1" .... "Aud4" or "A0"), see chapter 10. b)
If the corresponding operating mode is set, a warning sound is emitted via the integrated speaker (9) when motion
is detected by the PIR motion detector.
The two warning sounds "Aud1" and "Aud2" are pre-programmed by the manufacturer and cannot be changed.
When selecting warning sound 3 ("Aud3") or 4 ("Aud4"), any audio signal (or spoken message) can be recorded
via the integrated microphone (4). The maximum recording time is 10 seconds.
The warning sound can, of course, also be deactivated (setting "A0").
3. Setting the PIR sensitivity ("P1A1" .... "P1A4"), see chapter 10. c)
After finishing these settings, the display returns to standby mode (four dashes in the display).
Switch between the functions or leave the setting mode by briefly pressing the button "SET".
If no button is pressed for about 12 seconds, the setting mode is terminated automatically; the settings are
not stored!
a) Selecting the Operating Mode
• Briefly press the button "SET" (14) in standby mode (4 dashes in the display).
Then "SC01" appears in the display. The halogen lamp is activated while you
make your settings.
Please note:
If no button is pressed for about 12 seconds, the setting mode is
terminated automatically; the settings are not stored! The halogen lamp
goes out; the surveillance camera is back in standby mode.
• If you want to change the operating mode, use the buttons "UP" (15) and "DOWN" (16).
For a description of the different functions of the four operating modes, see the next page.
• Briefly press the button "SET" (14) to get to the warning sound selection; see chapter 10. b).
