Note
Heat is lost via the pump casing and pipes.
These heat losses should be limited to a minimum.
Heat losses can be reduced by insulating the pump casing and pipes.

Electrical connection
Electrical connection should be carried out in accordance with the local regulations. It is vital to
ensure that the voltage and frequency indicated on the nameplate are compatible with the mains
supply available.

Before carrying out any electrical connection work, the voltage supply must be

The protection against indirect contact can be achieved by earthing or potential
equalisation. If the pump is connected to an electrical installation, which has an FI
circuit breaker for additional protection, the FI circuit breaker must trigger with a
pulsing direct current component if earthing fault currents arise.
The FI circuit breaker must be marked with the following symbol
