Braking with the heel (fig. C):
If your inline skates are equipped with brakes,
remember to use them. Slightly raise the tip of
the skate on which the brake is mounted and
press the brake down onto the ground. Shift
your weight forwards slightly and bend your
knees. The brake effect can be increased if you
bend your knees more and shift your weight fur-
ther forwards while at the same time increasing
the pressure on your braking skate.
T-brake (fig. D):
If your inline skates are not equipped with
a brake, or if you have disassembled the
brake, we recommend that you use the T-stop
Technique, however, this is appropriate only
for advanced skaters! When using the T-stop
Technique, shift all of your weight to one foot.
Now move the other foot behind the first one
and place it behind it at a right angle.
Then shift your weight from the front to the
inside edge on your back skate and apply
increasingly more pressure to brake.
Setting the size (fig. E)
Press the set button (1j) and while holding it
down slide the shoe to the desired size.
The shoe must snap in with an audible CLICK.
The arrow on the shoe now points to the corre-
sponding size (1k) on the frame.
Setting the width (fig. F)
Loosen the screw on the bottom of the product
with the long Allen key (3) provided by turning
in the direction of the arrow.
Adjust the width to fit your individual needs by
sliding the shoe.
Tighten the screw securely once you are finished.
