After replacement:
If the roller rubs on the side or its circumference
touches the frame after replacement, please do
not use the roller!
Make sure that all bolts remain firm after the
first minutes of riding and that nothing has
come undone or become loose.
Tighten the rollers individually once more to be
certain that they run quietly and that there is no
noise coming from the bearings.
Important!
New rollers increase the overall height
of the inline skates. This changes the
distance from the ground and thus also
affects the braking characteristics. For
this reason replace the brake pad.
Replacing the ball bearings
(figs. Q/R).
Note:
Ball bearing quality and their mainte-
nance are crucial for ensuring
that your inline skates run quietly.
• Disassemble the roller (1o) as described in
the section "Replacing the rollers".
• Position the Allen key (with handle) (3)
with the extra device above the spacer (1r)
and press the spacer (1r) out. Take out the
bearing (1s).
• Apply pressure with the Allen key (3) to press
the other bearing (1s) out.
• Press in a new bearing (1s). Turn the roller
(1o) over, insert the spacer (1r), and then
press in a second new bearing (1s).
• Reattach the roller (1o) to the frame (1p)
as described in the section "Replacing the
rollers"

Storage, cleaning

Inline skates are technical sport and leisure
equipment and thus wear out depending on
skating skill and style. After using your inline
skates we recommend a thorough cleaning and
drying of the skates.
Remove small stones and other objects that
sometimes become stuck on your rollers.
Remove sharp edges that may have formed
from skating. Always store your inline skates in
a dry location.
• After skating you should clean the
ball bearings with a dry cloth. Wet
or damp ball bearings must be dried
with a clean cloth. Grease the bear-
ings with a suitable bearing grease
from the outside to prevent external
rust build-up.
• Bearings are generally closed and
cannot be lubricated from the inside.
Worn ball bearings must be re-
placed.

Troubleshooting

• Rollers or roller-bearings running
noisily
Disassemble the roller from the frame,
remove it, and clean the ball bearings with a
dry cloth.
• Rollers wearing out quickly
Smooth surfaces extend the life of rollers. Try
harder rollers for harder surfaces and for use
in difficult conditions.
• Rollers locking
Do not over-tighten the axle bolts.
• Skates pulling to left or right
This can depend on who the user is. Replace
the rollers that show wear on one side.
