In case of leakage from the batteries/rechargeable batteries, remove them from
the product immediately to avoid damage.
•
Remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a
prolonged period.
ATTENTION: Damage to the product
•
Only use the specified type of battery/rechargeable battery.
•
Insert batteries according to the polarity markings (+) and (-) into the battery/re-
chargeable battery and the product.
•
Clean the contacts on the battery/rechargeable battery and in the battery com-
partment with a dry, lint-free cloth or cotton swab before inserting them.
•
Remove discharged batteries/rechargeable batteries from the product immediately.
•
Replace batteries only in pairs.
•
Do not open the modules by force.
Radio interference troubleshooting
•
The product contains sensitive electronic components. The function can be distur-
bed by radio transmission devices in the immediate vicinity.
Remove such devices from the environment of the product if the display shows
malfunctions.
•
Electrostatic discharges can lead to malfunctions. In the event of such malfunctions,
briefly remove the battery and reinsert it.
•
Obstacles, such as concrete walls, can also cause the reception to be severely
disturbed. In this case, change the location.
Note the maximum range of the outdoor sensor (see technical data). The given
range is in open terrain. Any obstacle reduces the range.
•
Cold (outside temperatures below 0 °C) can negatively affect the battery power
of the outdoor sensor and thus the radio transmission. Exhausted batteries of the
external sensor lead to reception problems.
Replace the batteries with new ones.
•
If the product does not work properly, remove the batteries for a brief moment and
then reinsert them.
