Attention
Before installation, check strength and horizontality of the
base. Based on the pictures, connect the base of the ex-
ternal unit fi rmly to the ground, using suitable anchor bolts
(M10 x 2 pairs).
If the external unit should be exposed to signifi cant air cur-
rents, protect the fan using a protective screen and verify
the proper positioning and functioning.
1. Opening procedure for lateral passages
To allow the passage of cables, remove, with the help of a
screwdriver, the precut parts of the chassis of the external unit.
To effectively remove the material, keep the front panel of the
unit installed.
Prior to the passage of the cables, place the black grommets
provided within the document envelope.
2. Condensation drain pipe and pre-cut holes on the
base of the outdoor
If the drainage is ensured by the condensate drain pipe, connect
the hose (3) and use a tube (inner diameter 16 mm), available
on the market.
If the appliance is installed in a very cold place, where there
are abundant snowfall or in conditions where it is expected
that the discharge pipe could freeze, it is required to check the
capacity of the condensate drain pipe.
The evacuation capacity increases if the pre-cut holes present
at the base of the outdoor unit act as a condensate drain tray
(open all the holes through the aid of a hammer (4).
