2. Freezer temperature setting
Press the 'TEMP. SELECT' button to set the temperature of the freezer. At this point the freezer icon will illuminate and
the digital temperature display will flash. The freezer temperature can then be set with the + and - (buttons A and B).
The selected temperature is only set definitively
after the display is locked. The minimum freezer temperature to be set is -16 degrees, the maximum temperature to
be set is -24 degrees.
Recommended temperature setting
The recommended temperature setting for this appliance is:
• Fridge at 4 °C
• Freezer at -18 °C
Locking or unlocking controls
Press and hold the D 'Mode Select' button for three seconds to activate or deactivate the lock function.
Unlock: When the buttons are locked, press and hold the D 'Mode Select' button for 3 seconds; the buttons are
unlocked and the 'Lock On/Off' indicator on the display disappears.
Lock: When the buttons are unlocked, press and hold the D 'Mode Select' button for 3 seconds; the buttons are
locked and the 'Lock On/Off' indicator appears on the display.
Holiday mode
Press the D 'Mode Select' button to switch the 'holiday mode' on or off. The 'holiday mode' is switched on after the
display is locked. The 'holiday mode' indicator appears on the display.
This function can be used during long-term absence. When the holiday mode is switched on, the fridge cooling is
switched off completely, the freezer temperature is set to -18 degrees.
To deactivate the holiday mode, unlock the display first. Then press the D 'Mode Select' button to deactivate the
holiday mode. The 'holiday mode' indicator on the display disappears.
Super Cool mode
Press the D 'Mode Select' button to select the 'Super Cool' mode. The 'Super Cool' indicator appears on the display.
When this function is selected, the refrigerator is additionally cooled; the temperature is temporarily reduced (for six
hours) to 2 degrees. This function can be used if many products are placed in the refrigerator at the same time. The
"Super Cool" mode switches off automatically six hours after being switched on. To deactivate 'Super Cool' mode,
press the D 'Mode Select' button. The 'Super Cool' indicator on the display disappears.
Super Freeze mode
Press the D 'Mode Select' button to select the 'Super Freeze' mode. The 'Super Freeze' indicator appears on the
display. When this function is selected, the freezer is additionally cooled; the temperature is reduced to -24 degrees.
This function can be used if many products are placed in the freezer at the same time. The 'Super Freeze' mode
switches off automatically after 40 hours. To deactivate the 'Super Freeze' mode, press the D 'Mode Select' button.
The 'Super Freeze' indicator on the display disappears.
Door alarm
If the refrigerator door remains open for more than 2 minutes, the door alarm goes off every minute. You can switch
this off by closing the door, or by pressing the + and - button for 3 seconds.
