MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the filters

Cleaning cast iron grid
1. Remove the cast iron grid from the extraction inlet.
Clean the cast iron grid with hot water and neutral soap, without using abrasive sponges (do
not use detergents!). Do not wash the cast iron grid in a dishwasher.
Cleaning the grease filter
1. Pull the grease filter out of the extraction inlet using the two flaps.
Clean the grease filter every month of operation (or when the filter saturation indication
system indicates this necessity, consult chapter 'Hob extractor control panel'). This will
maintain good performance of the extractor and prevent a potential fire hazard, caused by
excessive grease build-up.
Clean the filter with a non-aggressive detergents, preferably by hand or els in the
dishwasher, which must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. The openings must
be placed downwards to let the water run out of the filter. The cleaning agents will make the
aluminium filter turn dull, this is normal.
The overflow drip tray is a part of the grease filter and must be checked after each cooking
or whenever liquid has been spilled on the hob. Rinse under warm water and remove food
to prevent smell and lime scale.
Odour filter (recirculation use)
Replace the odour filter every 300 hours depending on the intensity of use of operation (or when
the filter saturation indication system indicates this necessity.
