setting the flow time
The time indication in the display indicates the flow time of your coffee. By default, it is set as follows:
- (
) for 1 cup of coffee, 15 seconds;
- (
) for 2 cups of coffee, 25 seconds.
According to your own taste, you can adjust the flow time. For this, first place 1 or 2 cup(s) under the appliance. Press the button to be
adjusted (
or
) down for 3 seconds. The indicator lights start to flash quickly and the time indicator lights up. Press the button
once more, the appliance will start to run, and press the button again when the required flow time has been reached. The time is set.
When setting the time for 1 cup of coffee, the flow time for 2 cups will be doubled automatically. When setting the time for 2 cups of
coffee, the flow time for 1 cup will be halved automatically. For 1 cup of coffee, the maximum run time that can be set is 45 seconds,
for 2 cups this is 90 seconds.

Check that the voltage stated on the information plate matches the voltage used in your region. Place the coffee machine on a flat,
stable and heat-resistant surface. Insert the plug in an earthed wall socket.
1. Take the removable water reservoir from the appliance, slide the cover upwards and fold it over.
Fill the water reservoir with cold drinking water. Do not fill it above the MAX mark. Place the cover back on the
reservoir and slide the reservoir back into the appliance.
2. Check that the steam controller is switched off (turned upwards). Switch on the appliance by pressing the on/off
button (
). The indicator lights on the operating panel start to flash to indicate that the appliance is being pre-
heated. When this lights remain on, the water is at the right temperature.
Attention: During pre-heating, the appliance does not work when pressing the flashing buttons.
3. Turn the steam pipe away from the appliance, use the provided handle for this. Hold a cup under the steam pipe.
4. Turn the steam controller and then press the button
Warning: Never turn the steam controller too quickly, too much steam could be created too quickly otherwise, which in rare cases
could lead to an explosion.
5. When the required volume of water has been reached, press the
(turned upwards). The hot water is ready for use.
Attention:
• If you want to make coffee immediately after using the steam pipe, the indicator lights and clock will flash quickly. The appliance is
still too hot for making coffee. After using the steam pipe, we recommend switching off the appliance and allowing it to cool down
for at least 5 minutes before making coffee.
• When the appliance fails while steam is being released, the residual heat ensures that steam continuous to be released for
a certain period of time. The appliance stops producing steam when you turn the steam controller off (turned upwards).
Warning: The steam pipe becomes hot, only grab it by means of the supplied handle.

4. Fill a cup with the drink that you want tot heat up, (chocolate) milk. It is important that the cup used is not too small, observe
a minimum diameter of 7.5 mm and take into account that the drink can double in volume when foaming.
5. Remove the attachment from the steam pipe and place the steam pipe in the drink to be heated. If you also want to foam your
drink, leave the attachment on the steam pipe. Make sure that the end of the steam pipe is always in the drink (approx. 2 cm),
and not only in the foam for example, to prevent liquid from splashing upwards.
