h) Setting the Hysteresis
For the thermostat not to trigger a switching process at every small temperature change, the
hysteresis can be switched between 1 °C and 2 °C.
Example:
When using the heating mode and a pre-set temperature value of 20 °C, the
thermostat will switch on the heating at a hysteresis of 1 °C at an ambience
temperature of 19.5 °C and off at 20.5 °C.
Setting the hysteresis to 2 °C, the thermostat switches the heating on at 19 °C and
off at 21 °C.
• Briefly press the button "MODE" to terminate setting mode.
• Use the button "1C/2C" to select the desired hysteresis.
Display "1°":
Hysteresis set to 1 °C
Display "2°":
Hysteresis set to 2 °C
• To terminate this setting mode, briefly press "OK".
The setting mode is left automatically if no button is pushed for approx. 10 seconds.
i) Activating/Deactivating the Switch-on Delay
The switch-on delay prevents connected heating and cooling devices to be switched on or off
too often at quickly fluctuating temperatures.
Example:
When the switch-on delay is activated, a connected heating is only switched on after
it was switched off for 5 minutes before.
In cooling more, the switch-on delay is automatically activated for the protection of the
cold compressor. It cannot be switched off.
• Briefly press the button "MODE" to terminate setting mode.
• Switch the switch-on delay on with the button "DELAY" (the lower left of the display shows
"DLY") or off.
• To terminate this setting mode, briefly press "OK".
The setting mode is left automatically if no button is pushed for approx. 10 seconds.
