Installation and programming
Select a clean, dust-free, dry location for installing the product. Ensure that the ambient conditions for
temperature and humidity that apply to this product are observed.
Necessary connections on the ECOLINE Quad
1. Cameras
Connect the video output of the camera (or other video source) to the corresponding video inputs for
camera 1-4 on the ECOLINE Quad.
2. Main monitor
Connect a video monitor (PAL/CCIR compatible) 1Vp-p video input to the ECOLINE Quad video output.
This monitor enables viewing live pictures or recorded video data in the selected display format.
3. Voltage
Use the supplied power supply unit (230VAC/12VDC 1.0A) to provide the ECOLINE Quad with voltage.
Additional optional connections
1. Recorder output
Connect the video input of your recording device (PAL/CCIR compatible) to the Recorder output "REKORDER
Ausgang" of the ECOLINE Quad.
2. Recorder input
Connect the video output of your recording device (PAL/CCIR compatible) to the Recorder input "REKORDER
Eingang" of the ECOLINE Quad.
3. Alarm
Connect external alarm contacts to the "ALARM" connection of the
ECOLINE Quad using the supplied sub-D connectors.
