Maintenance
7.1
Servicing instructions
• Dry the filter and the air inlet of the tool.
• Lubricate the quick coupling to prevent
blockages.
• Lubricate the device daily with a good grade
of pneumatic tool oil.
• If you do not use a lubricator for the air line,
allow one teaspoon of oil to run through the
device.
• The oil can be injected into the air inlet of the
tool or into the hose at the nearest
connection to the air supply, then let the tool
run.
• Anti-corrosive oil is suitable for pneumatic
tools.
• Pneumatic

motor and the bearing use compressed air to

Changing the needles
The needles of the needle scaler are subject to
natural wear. They can easily be replaced with
19 new 3-mm thick needles.

To do this, remove both screws using the
supplied hex key.
2. Then pull off the front housing.
3. Now unscrew the barrel from the handle.

clamping devices for wear and tolerances in
the event of any tool clamping.
• If the tool is too damaged to continue to be
used, recycle the raw materials instead of
disposing of it as waste. The machine,
accessories and packaging should be sorted
for environmentally friendly recycling. Check
with your local authority or dealer for
recycling

holes. Pull out the worn needles and insert
the new needles.
