Workplace safety
• Always keep your work surface clean and
illuminated. Failure to do so may result in an
accident.
• Do not use the needle scaler in explosion-
hazard areas. Sparks might be generated
which could ignite dust or vapours.
5.2
General safety rules
• Observe the device continuously during use.
• Persons under the influence of alcohol or
drugs must not use, repair or perform
maintenance on the tools.
• Keep unqualified people, children, etc. away
from the tool.
• Keep the work area clean and ensure plenty
of natural light or artificial lighting. The work
area where the machine is used must be tidy.
Disorder may cause an accident.
• Never use oxygen or flammable gases, which
can be ignited by sparks and cause fire or
explosion, as an air supply to the tool.
• Do not allow children or other persons near
the device while it is in use. Distractions can
lead to a loss of control of the device.
• Never use petrol or other flammable liquids to
clean the tool.
• Do not use pneumatic tools in potentially
explosive environments, such as flammable
liquids, cleaning solvents, liquid energy or
stored gases.
• Do not expose pneumatic tools to rain. Do not
use pneumatic tools in wet or damp locations.
• If a fault or malfunction is detected, the tool
must be immediately disconnected from the
air supply and sent in for repair.
• Modifying the tool in any way is not permitted.
• When not in use, store the tool in a dry place,
either locked away or in a high location, out of
the reach of children.
• Do not force small pneumatic tools to do more
powerful work. Do not use pneumatic tools for
any purpose for which they are not intended.

to operate the pneumatic tool.
• Disconnect the tool from the compressor

maintenance work or changing accessories.
• Do not carry the plugged-in pneumatic tool
with your finger on the trigger switch. Make
sure that the switch is in the "OFF" position
when you connect the device to the
compressed-air supply.
• Avoid
unsafe
situations
especially when you are tired.
• Tools operated with compressed air can
vibrate when used. Vibrations, repetitive
movements, or awkward positions can be
harmful to your hands or arms. Stop using a
tool if you experience discomfort, tingling or
pain. Consult a doctor before resuming work.
• Read and understand the safety instructions
before
installing,
performing
maintenance
accessories, or working in the vicinity of the
pneumatic assembly tool for threaded joints.
Failure to do so may result in serious injury.
