Do not use any additives. Additives may
damage the water filter.

a permanent water filter. It is not in need of
replacement or maintenance.
Cleaning and care
DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
Always disconnect the mains plug
the socket-outlet before cleaning the product.

WARNING! Do not immerse the product's
electrical components in water or other
liquids. Never hold the product under
running water.
Do not let any water or other liquids enter
the product interior.
Do not use any abrasive, aggressive cleaners
or hard brushes to clean the product.
1. Wipe down the product with a slightly damp
cloth.
2. Clean the soleplate
and a mild, non-scouring detergent.
3. Let all parts dry completely after cleaning.
Self-cleaning function

to remove filth and limescale build-up in the

Use the self-cleaning function at least twice

per month.

1. Before filling water into the water tank: Set
the steam control

2. Open the lid of the fill opening

3. Turn the temperature control
clockwise all the way to MIN.
4. Plug the mains plug into an appropriate
socket-outlet.
5. Set the temperature control to the highest
temperature (turn clockwise all the way).
6. Set the steam control to maximum steam
power.
7. Wait for the product to heat up and the
control light
to go off.

8. Hold the product horizontally over a sink.
9. Press and hold the self-cleaning button
until no more steam or boiling, soiled water
exits the product.
10. Empty the water tank of any residual water
via the fill opening
Storage
Store the product in the original packaging
when it is not in use.
Store the product at a dry location out of the
reach of children.
Store the product with the water tank empty
only.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.
Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a)
and numbers (b) with following
meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22: paper
and fibreboard/80–98: composite
materials.
