Commissioning
The control unit performs the following additional functions automatically:
Checking the battery voltage
The control unit checks the battery voltage 2x daily and signals a battery error if the voltage falls below a certain level. Visual
and acoustic warning signals appear on the control unit.
SDS Self diagnosis system
The control unit has an automatic self-check, which performs a functional check of the connected components automatically.
Even if no wastewater has to be pumped away, the system's readiness is checked.
Preset test cycle:
every 28 days (freely adjustable)

Checking the battery connection
Open housing (anticlockwise).
Connect battery(ies).
Close housing (clockwise).
Connect to the mains.

below.
Green LED indicates standby state (ready for operation).
5.2
Carrying out initialisation
During initialisation, the following input is expected:

► Press OK.
► Use the cursor keys to select the language and confirm
with OK.

► Set the respective flashing figure in date and time and
confirm with OK.

► Enter the maintenance interval specified in the standard.
Initialisation is completed, control unit is ready for use.
The first time pressing of the OK button activates control
mode at the control unit. (The display lights up).
5.3
Acknowledge alarm
The control unit displays (alarm) messages as follows:
the alarm LED flashes red,
an error message appears in the display,
an acoustic signal sounds.
Press the Alarm button for 3 seconds to acknowledge.
If the cause of the error has been corrected, the acoustic
signal falls silent and the LED stops flashing.
Pressing the Alarm button briefly switches off the acoustic
alarm; however, the error message remains in the display
and flashes.
