Correct positioning of the base station and the outdoor sensor is crucial for accurate readings.
Important:
The weather station and outdoor sensor should be set up at least 1.5 to 2 metres away

from electrical equipment to prevent radio interference.
The outdoor sensor is protected against dust and water spray (IP54). The outdoor

sensor can therefore be installed in a location which is exposed to rainfall.
To increase the range, ensure that the weather station and outdoor sensor are not

placed in the vicinity of large metal objects, thick walls, metal surfaces, etc.
Avoid using other electrical equipment that uses the same radio frequency.

8.1
1. Remove the battery compartment lid (10) on the back of the outdoor sensor by sliding the
lid downwards.
2. Select the required radio channels 1 to 3 using the slide switch (9).
Note:
If you use only one outdoor sensor, we recommend selecting channel 1 and increasing
the channel number with each additional sensor. If you cannot connect to a channel or if
the selected channel limits the range, try using a different channel.
3. Insert two AA/Mignon batteries into the battery compartment with the correct polarity (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment lid (10).

8.2 Inserting the batteries into the weather station
1. Remove the battery compartment lid (5) on the back of the weather station and insert
2 AAA/Micro batteries with the correct polarity (pay attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
2. Replace the battery compartment lid.
3. With the batteries inserted, all display segments appear briefly on the weather station's
display (1). The weather station then emits a short beep and switches to display mode.
4. The weather station will then start searching for the outdoor sensor.
The process takes about 3 minutes. During this time, do not move the weather station

or the outdoor sensor and do not press any buttons. The default display is CH1. If
CH2 or CH3 receives the signal first, there is no automatic switchover to the received
channel.
The connection mode is deactivated if the weather station receives no signal during

this time.
8.3 Installing the outdoor sensor
You can hang the outdoor sensor on a nail, screw or hook on the wall using a loop (8) on its
rear side.
When making holes in the wall or inserting plugs, ensure that no cables or
wires are damaged.
The outdoor sensor should be installed in a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight
to prevent inaccurate readings. Direct exposure to rain or snow will also result in inaccu-
rate readings.
8.4 Setting up or mounting the weather station
You can hang the weather station on a hook, nail or screw on the wall using the loop (3) on
its rear side.
The weather station can also be set up on a horizontal, stable and sufficiently large surface
using the fold-out table stand (6). A suitable mat should be used to prevent scratch marks on
the surface of valuable furniture.
8.5 Selecting the radio channel on the weather station
You can select the required radio channel for the outdoor sensor on the weather station by
pressing the +/CH button:
Press once:
Channel 1 (display shows "CH1")
Press twice:
Channel 2 (display shows "CH2")
Press three times: Channel 3 (display shows "CH3")
12
Press four times: Auto cycle (radio channel changes every 10 seconds if additional sensors
are connected).
Pressing and holding the +/CH button for about 3 seconds deletes all data from the out-
door sensors and restarts the signal search.
8.6 Setting the button tones, time and date
To adjust the settings, proceed as follows:
1. Press and hold the "SET" button for about 3 seconds to access the settings.
This activates the setup mode. The first setting enables or disables the button tones.

The current setting flashes on the display (1).

16
2. Press the button "+/CH" or "-/°C/F" to select the desired value:
"ON": Button tones enabled

"OFF": Button tones disabled

3. Press the "SET" button again to confirm your selection and move to the next menu item.
The setup mode ends automatically if no button is pressed within 20 seconds. The new
settings will be saved.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all other parameters. All parameters that can be adjusted in the
setup menu are shown in the table below:
