Intended use
The ResMed Homecare Stand ('stand') is designed for
practical and convenient use to hold and move ResMed
therapy devices and accessories between points of
therapy in the home and hospital environment. It is
intended to support the ventilation device, humidifier and
circuit support arm.
For a full list of compatible devices for the stand, see
the Ventilation Accessories on www.resmed.com on
the Products page under Ventilation Devices. If you do
not have internet access, please contact your ResMed
representative.
Note: For full details regarding correct use of these
devices, please refer to your device user guide.

Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe the stand once a week or more often if required with
a damp cloth and a mild cleaning solution.
Note: Solutions used in conjunction with the stand
may be corrosive. If solution spills on the stand, clean
immediately.
Disposal
The stand does not contain any hazardous substances and
may be disposed of with your normal household refuse.

General warnings and cautions
WARNING
• Read the entire guide before using the stand.
• If this stand is modified, appropriate inspection and
testing must be conducted to ensure continued safe use
of the stand.
• Do not place the stand and device on steep slopes. Hold
the stand handle as you move the unit over power cords
or any other obstacle to prevent accidental tipping.
• Before moving the stand carrying a device integrated
with a humidifier, make sure that the humidifier water
tub is empty.
• Always ensure all three lockable wheels are locked to
immobilise the stand.
• This stand is for indoor use only.
• Pushing with excessive force, especially while the
wheels are locked, may cause the stand to topple
over. This could damage the ventilator and attached
equipment.
CAUTION
• Follow any additional safety and installation instructions
that accompany the device that you are mounting on the
stand system.
Limited warranty
ResMed warrants that your ResMed stand shall be free
from defects in material and workmanship for a period of
90 days from the date of purchase by the initial customer.
This warranty is not transferable.
